God chose to work in the life of the prophet Hosea - resulting in a powerful example of love and redemption.
This same power is made available for us through the death and resurrection of Christ.
God tells Hosea to take a wife of whoredom. To have children with her. For the land they live in forsakes the Lord. God declares he will have no mercy on Israel and they are not his people.
