I glanced at the study notes in my Bible as I was reading this morning (not a Bible I chose myself, I hasten to add). They identify the beast as "the leader of what will be called 'The United States of Europe.'" Wow... that's a pretty specific interpretation to set alongside the text itself!


V 19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant.
Meaning, the very presence of God was there.
