An interesting chapter. The same 6 verses are repeated twelve times with only the name of the tribal leader changing each time.
And then there's a mysterious last verse that explains how Moses spoke with the LORD in the tabernacle.
The strictest translations don't actually have the word 'LORD' in that last verse - they just use 'him' and 'the voice'.
I was thinking of saying 'Moses spoke with the voice', but without the context of the tent of meeting that sounds too bizarre.
