Certainly there is more to this rather long chapter than this.
Very true. 140 characters is a severe limit sometimes.
When Jesus was asked ‘Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?’
Jesus simply said V 62 “I am.”
We are reminded of those words in Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses I Am who I Am.
Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One!
I sit bemused at some of these comments/criticisms of this Holy Book.
'Tis what it 'tis--the word ov our Jesus.
We can never read enough about Him.
Give thx to Yahweh that you're able yo read this text.
Stop bitching!
Also, fascinated that the mind of man and his treachery have changed little in over 2000 years.
Praise Jesus!

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
