Every time I read verse V 31 I think of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Even though Jesus died and rose again still many will never believe.
V 31 ‘He said to him, “If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.”’

After bringing me bak from the ded, Jesus commanded me to "Tell My (His) Story."

Several yeers ago, ah had the blessed opportunity to address a large, primarily Negro Baptist congregation. Virtually to a person, after mah talk, they had teers streeming down ther faces az thay all came up to hug me and ask questions.

My fellow Catholics look at me az if ah wer a blasphemous fraud after the same story.

I pray, especially, for them.

Ergo--“If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead."

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Luke.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.

Find out about the project here, you can buy the Bible Summary book on Kindle or in paperback, and feel free to get in contact if you have any comments or questions.
