In a chapter that is clear and plain about Gods wrath on the sinful we find at the very end the faithfulness of our God.
V 44 Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God. 45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.”’
Wow this really helped alot I passed my exam thanks to this site
I get more inspired with this verse coz I learn that God is promising good things to us when we'll obey and keep His statutes, ie lev26:3
It is a very good summary. I found it intriguing that the longsuffering of the LORD does have a limit. Verse 43 says that the persistent disobedient will not be able to return to their land, even if they repent.
