Zophar's feelings were hurt by Jobs remarks that he felt he should once again (and for the last time) speak to Job. Gone is any hint of love, compassion or understanding for Job as a friend or his circumstances.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

Chris Juby

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Job.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
