My summary of this chapter is that Jeremiah did God's biding by warning them of their foolish behaviors, therefore, he was spared from death at the hands of these rebellious people. Uriah was not anointed like Jeremiah.
Jeremiah, a preaching prophet, anointed to tell the people to repent and turn to the one true God....we still need to hear and act upon that message today.
