What happens next?
This is the question I'm answering more than any other at the moment.
People have made lots of interesting suggestions about what I could summarise next. The Apocrypha, the Lord of the Rings, the Mr Men... you name it!
I haven't settled on much yet, but here are a few things I do know:
1. No more tweets
Firstly, I'm pretty sure that there will be no more tweets at @biblesummary. That's a painful decision. It's social media insanity to abandon a Twitter account with 29,000 followers. But the intention was always to end up with an account with exactly 1,189 tweets and at the moment I can't see any reason strong enough to go back on that.
2. Lots happening on the blog and Facebook
Secondly, I'll be posting lots of updates on the blog here and on the Facebook page for the next little while. Right now I'm posting a fair bit about the media interest at the end of the project, then there will be much reflecting to do. Plus I have lots of interesting possibilities and partnerships coming up, which I'll let you know about soon.
3. A Kindle version
Thirdly, you can now buy the full summary for Kindle, if you so desire.
Thanks again for all your support for the project!
I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.
