Judah was destroyed. The land God gave to His people, as the Promised Land they took by faith and lost it through idolatry and sin.

Judah lost its own land, the land God had given to His people. They took the land by faith and obedience but they lost it through doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, through idolatry and sin.

I am confused. Is his name actually Evil-merodach, or is his name just merodach?
