A very appropriate chapter for Pentecost today!
Also Elijah poured water on the sacrifice to make the prophets really not believe any god could do it. But elijah prayed and God was like BANG!!!!!!

Its to much killing
This a very important and good piece of theology written BC, however stating the actual tenants of a very powerful, and near God; showing His servants; such as Elijah, that there is no God like the true and living God Jehovah; Who could stop a world famine at any time, and restore a people as He pleases! And that Jezebel was no challenge to the eternal God of glory!
