This chapter puts me in the mind of a verse from Isaac Watts' hymn 'Join all the glorious names' -

My Advocate appears
For my defense on high;
The Father bows His ears
And lays His thunder by.
Not all that hell or sin can say
Shall turn His heart, His love, away.

V 19-21 Job again mentions the need for a mediator, an advocate and a comforter in heaven who would plead his case before God the Father.
Job seemed to know that such a person existed making him a believer in Jesus Christ long before He came to earth.
