Lots going on in this chapter. Isaac is tricked by Rebekah & Jacob into giving his blessing to Jacob and not his firstborn Esau. Esau held a grudge saying he would kill Jacob,. Rebekah tells Jacob to go to her brother in Harran.

What do you make of this chapter? What do you think of my summary? How would you summarise it?

I summarised all 1,189 chapters of the Bible on Twitter - one tweet per chapter, one chapter per day for over three years.

These are the summaries of the book of Genesis.

They are written to help you understand and remember what's going on in the chapter, but they're no substitute for reading the Bible for yourself.
