Did Jonah return to the northern kingdom and encourage battle now that the Assyrians we weak and no longer cruel people of war after the revival had taken place

We are seeing a pattern here, although Amaziah king of Israel did right in the eyes of the Lord V4 The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.

Just a grammar error. Juda was defeated, not were. It's a common error. "Were" needs to be changed to "was."

Thanks for your comment, @Kyle. In UK English (where I live) we use the plural for a collective noun. There are a few points like that where the difference between UK and US English comes up.
